Since 2014, the OURIKA COMMUNITY GARDENS have thrived at the foothills of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Inspired by the abundant beauty of Morocco, Mr. Saint Laurent found endless inspiration in this country. In honour of his legacy, YSL Beauty initiated its programme in the picturesque Ourika Valley, creating a programme dedicated to empowering women by establishing a cooperative garden. Through this initiative, we have created an ongoing conversation with women, recognizing them as strong and self-assured heroines. This impactful social program not only encourages local craftsmanship but also empowers women to achieve financial independence, igniting transformative change throughout the region.
