Space Harrier has been ported to lots of different systems. Some versions that are based on pure emulation has been purposely discluded in this video. Though Dreamcast version is based on emulation, we've included because there are minor differences regarding the sound.

As a curiosity, Sharp MZ-700 version was originally a fanmade version, released in a Japanese Magazine in 1988 and later licensed by Sega. Most of Japanese computers of that times were unable to offer sprite scaling, and that's why most of the elements has a blocky look.

BONUS: We've included Space Harrier 3D, a semisequel released for Master System stereoscopic glasses. Although most times we do not include unofficial versions, this time we've included an unofficial Atari XL/XE Port released in 2011 and updated in 2018, that looks like an original release in terms of graphics and gameplay. To end the video, we've included footage of the Bayonetta's Space Harrier tribute.
