It was genuinely OVERWHELMING the outcry for us to do this after the snippet we did for Replay 2019, my newest metal tribute to the history of video games (watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITo6tt_tRgw). We were both reluctant to do it since we were both worried we were nervous we wouldn't live up to the hype, and it being such a long song, we knew it'd be quite the undertaking. We gave it our all (I even did some vocals) and we hope you enjoy it!
I was surprised to have to take out the 8-String again for this one. While I was going over it, I noticed a turbo low F# and decided the best way to take it on was take out the Hellraiser! I'm getting used to it, but damn is it hard to shoot with being such a massive neck and instrument. It's still using the two bass strings for the low strings I had to use for last weeks cover, so while it's a bitch to play with, it's very clear in the lower range! Almost too clear!
I had the biggest issue getting everything blended with this cover. I knew I wanted synths and all sorts of aux instruments, but once I started piling everything in, I noticed having everything lay on an 8-string guitar can prove interesting. I hope you enjoyed the end result though! We put our blood, sweat, and tears into this one!
