Octopus and squid are common on the reefs at Bonaire. In July, adult squid are very approachable and, once they become acclimated to the presence of divers, they will resume mating and laying eggs. Tamie deWitt is the diver closest to the squid; Bob deWitt and Marj Awai are divers in the background.
