How to fix a portable Jump Starter / Power Pack / Booster With Air Compressor. Fix it yourself and save money, so you do not have to buy a new one.

My friends Dewalt 1400 amp jump starter, Booster pack, air compressor combo broke down, so he bought a new one and gave me the broken one that did not work. It also has USB outlets and a work light built in. Only problem is, it does not work. Can I fix it? Or should I buy a new one?

In this video I show you how to open it up, what to look for and check, and common failure points. I give maintenance tips on how to make it last longer and my opinion on what caused the failure. Then I show you the problem mine had and how to fix it.

Let's face it. Your ready to throw it out and buy a new one right? Why not open it up and take a look? It might only be a simple and inexpensive problem. Most of these types of units are built very similar. What I show in this video can relate to many brands, makes, and models.

The Dewalt 1400 jumpack, air compressor, work light, and USB charging station I was given because it doesn't work retails for about $200 USD. If you can repair it for cheap, you can put that saved money towards new tools or take your wife out for a nice dinner. What will I choose? What will you choose? Watch and see.

Stay tuned until the end of the video. I give thanks to one of my new YouTube subscribers.
