Charted at #1 on Billboard chart in 1948. Art's first big hit. "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover" was originally a hit in 1927. That year, it charted at #2 for Nick Lucas, #3 for Ben Bernie and His Orchestra and #10 for Jean Goldkette and His Orchestra. The song underwent a major revival in 1948 when it not only charted for Art Mooney, but also #6 for Russ Morgan, #6 for Alvino Rey, #10 for the Three Suns, #11 for the Uptown String Band, and #14 for Arthur Godfrey. Finally, it bubbled under the Hot 100 at #123 for Wayne Newton in February 1964.
