Have you ever imported files to Adobe Lightroom, only to have them look corrupted moments later? Or perhaps the files looked fine on camera, but now when you import them they're clearly damaged? What happened?
This video explores the some of the ways you might discover a corrupted file, and explains why, when Lightroom briefly shows the file as fine before the damage becomes clear, it's not actually Lightroom damaging the file. I also explain why a corrupted file may look fine in Photo Mechanic, and damaged in other applications.
