Samantha Fuentes, a former student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, testified about the injuries she suffered at the hands of Nikolas Cruz, who faces a possible death sentence for the mass shooting that killed 17 people at the Parkland school. Fuentes told jurors that she was hit with shrapnel throughout her body and still has multiple pieces inside including one behind her eye. Fuentes said she was covered in blood when she left the classroom after the shooting was over.
