滋賀県長浜市にある「山本屋魚濱」は店長自ら漁に出向き、ビワマスを釣って出す飲食店です。ビワマスは琵琶湖の固有種で漁獲量も少ないことから琵琶湖周辺でしか消費されていない貴重な魚です。そのビワマスを一本釣りで捕獲し、提供するのは日本中でもここだけかもしれません。

Yamamotoya Uohama, located in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, is a restaurant where the owner himself goes fishing to catch and serve Biwamasu. Biwamasu is an endemic species of Lake Biwa and is a valuable fish that is only consumed around Lake Biwa because the catch is small. This may be the only place in Japan that catches and offers Biwamasu by pole-and-line fishing.
