「世界ラーメン紀行第1弾 フランス・パリ編」
世界のラーメン事情をレポートする「世界ラーメン紀行」。
ラーメンが国民食から世界食へと進化を遂げ、ラーメンは今、世界を席巻しています。
新横浜ラーメン博物館ではこれまでパリ、フランクフルト、ローマ、アムステルダム、ロンドンなど、世界17カ国、26都市を訪れ、
延べ200店舗以上の海外のラーメンを調査してまいりました。世界ラーメン紀行では様々な国のラーメン事情を動画で紹介いたします。
第1弾はフランス・パリを紹介いたします。
フランスにラーメンが登場したのは今から約30年前。オープン当初は同じような想いの駐在員で人気を博していましたが、
1990年頃から徐々に現地フランス人の利用が増えていき、今では95％を占めています。
平日、休日に関係なくオープン前から長蛇の列ができ、長い時は1時間以上待つこともあります。

World Ramen Travelogue No. 1—The France Report
Ramen evolved from a national food to a world dish, and now ramen is taking the world by storm.
Shinyokohama Ramen Museum has thus far visited 26 cities in 17 countries including Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, Amsterdam, and London
to investigate 200 ramen shops overseas, and to introduce with our World Ramen Travelogue footage the current state of ramen in
these various countries.
For our first project, we introduce Paris, France.
Ramen appeared in France about 30 years ago, with owners initially seeing popularity build with like-minded Japanese expatriates,
the 1990s saw a gradual increase of local French customers. Today locals account for 95% of the customers who line up at shops
before they are open regardless of whether it is a weekday, or holiday; sometimes waiting in line for an hour or more.
