『大改造!!劇的ビフォーアフター』「住之江の元長屋」大阪の建築家・守谷昌紀【WORKS 】020

大阪の建築家、一級建築士事務所アトリエｍの守谷です。
大阪市内の密集した住宅街の元6軒長屋。『大改造!!劇的ビフォーアフター』で放映されたリノベーションを紹介します。
– 天井から雨が降る家に光と風を–
『大改造!!劇的ビフォーアフター』
「住之江の元長屋」＜リノベーション＞

この計画は『大改造!!劇的ビフォーアフター』からの依頼で始まりました。
タイトルは「天井から雨が降る家」。
6軒長屋が切り離され、中央部だったこの家だけが残りましたが、築74年になり雨漏りが酷くなっていました。
両隣には5階建てのマンションが建ち、光も入らず過酷な環境でしたが、多くの家族が育ったこの家を、クライアント姉妹が何とか守りたいというのが全ての動機でした。
雨漏りが酷かった部分は、増築によって屋根形状が複雑になっていた箇所。対策としては屋根を片流れとし、雨水の流れを単純なものとし、また腐食が激しい躯体は、新しいものにやり替えました。
縦長の敷地で、できれば主要な空間を1階、道路側に集めたいところです。光と風を届ける為、中央部付近に光庭を設けるプランを考えました。
光庭にイロハモミジを植えていますが、葉の揺らぎ、木漏れ日が、視覚的、精神的な安らぎをもたらしてくれるはずです。
クライアントからは、「長らく悩まされた雨だが、これからは葉に落ちる様子も楽しめそう」と言って貰いました。
1996年、大阪にアトリエｍを設立してから四半世紀。住宅、クリニック、店舗、オフィス、保育園と、直接依頼頂いたクライアントに約100件の作品を持たせて頂きました。
形態も新築、リノベーション、コンバージョンと様々。 物づくりの現場より面白い所を私は知りません。
住まい手の夢をかなえるのが、建築家の役目だと思っています。

I'm Moritani from Atelier m, an architect and first-class office in Osaka.
I would like to introduce you to a former row house in Suminoe.
- Dramatic Before After -
"Former row house in Suminoe"〈Renovation〉
This project began with a request from "Dramatic Before After".
The title of the project was "House with Rain Falling from the Ceiling".
Six row houses were detached and only this house, which was the central part, remained, but it was 74 years old and leaking badly.
The house was 74 years old and leaking badly. The client's sisters wanted to protect the house where many of their family members had grown up, despite the harsh environment and lack of light from the five-story apartment buildings on both sides.
The area where the leaks were the worst was where the roof shape had become complicated due to the addition. The roof was replaced with a single-pitched roof to simplify the flow of rainwater, and the heavily corroded frame was replaced with a new one.
The site is long and narrow, and we wanted to concentrate the main spaces on the ground floor, preferably on the street side. In order to bring light and wind into the building, a light garden was planned near the center of the building.
We planted an Irohamomiji tree in the light garden, and the swaying of the leaves and the sunlight filtering through the trees should bring visual and mental comfort.
The client told us, "The rain has been bothering me for a long time, but from now on I will be able to enjoy the falling leaves.
It has been a quarter of a century since I established Atelier m in 1996. I have worked on about 100 projects for direct clients, mainly custom-built houses, clinics, stores, offices, and nurseries.I don't know of any place more interesting than the field of manufacturing.
