Former senior adviser to Donald Trump, Jason Miller, has called the FBI search at the former president's home "egregious".
Speaking to Sky's Mark Austin, Mr Miller accused the FBI of conducting a "politicised raid" to "hurt" Mr Trump.
He said: "This is a pretty egregious example of politicisation when it comes to the law enforcement and criminal justice system in the United States.
"So the fact that the FBI came in in a very politicised raid and did this can only be done for one reason. And that's to try to hurt President Trump on politics."
He also said he believes Trump will run in the next presidential election in 2024.
