We compare the new Audi RS3 Sportback and the Mercedes-AMG A45 S. Two hyper hatches with around 300kW of power and sub-4sec 0-100km/h times. Which one wins?
The Audi RS3 is new for 2023 with a 2.5-litre turbo five-cylinder engine making 294kW (394 hp), while the AMG A45 S has been out for a couple of years, belting out 310kW (415 hp) from its 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder engine.
They both make good power, but which hot hatch is best to drive every day, and which is the sportiest when you find a good bit of road? Chasing Cars deputy editor Curt Dupriez investigates.
