王女セリアを人質にしたドラゴンを追い続けるドラゴンバスターことクロービス。しかし、ドラゴン山への道には、魔物のいる墓場や廃墟が数多く待ち受けている。この作品は、ストーリー性を持つバイタリティ制のアクションゲーム。プレイヤーはドラゴン山に辿り着くため、迷路状の洞窟に潜むルームガーダーと呼ばれるモンスターを倒しつつ出口を探し出す。登場するキャラクターは、それぞれ特徴が異なるため戦略性は高い。また、ステージ開始前にラウンドマップが表示され、ドラゴン山までのルートを決めることが可能。全12ステージ。
ストーリー:
炎を吐き、天を跳梁し、民を脅かす邪悪の権化"魔龍"は、古今東西を問わず様々な伝説に存在している。計り知れないエネルギーと魔力をもって、地上に君臨する魔獣。しかし、その魔力をも恐れぬ勇者が必ずや現われる。彼は、剣を手に、持ち得る限りの知力と、いかなる困難にも負けない勇気で、魔龍に立ち向かうのだ。

Namco released a board game based on this game (same name) in 1985 (in Japan only) : You roll the dice to move around the board and complete quests. The game includes a variety of event cards, charts for randomizing events and encounters,counters for monsters and items and such. The goal of this game is to kill the dragon and rescue the princess.
