読売テレビ・日本テレビ系TVアニメ『半妖の夜叉姫』弐の章1月クールオープニングテーマ
直前に発売された2ndアルバム「CITY」で更に洗練された音楽性を披露したSixTONES。
その次の作品としてリリースするのは丁寧な日本語で紡がれた歌詞が印象的な「共鳴」。
先の見えない世の中、たとえ困難な状況でも、共鳴することで乗り越えられる。
仲間とともに“今”を生き抜く決意を、疾走感溢れるロック＋ジャズ＋HIP HOPを融合した力強いサウンドに乗せた、新時代的・絆ソング。
TVアニメ『半妖の夜叉姫』のオープニングテーマとして3rdシングル「NEW ERA」ぶり、２度目の起用となった今作は、約１年半を経て「NEW ERA」から歌唱力・表現力等、更にレベルアップしたSixTONESを感じることができる。
そのミュージックビデオは、初となる全編を通してグリーンバックで撮影。
MV監督は、前作「CITY」収録の松村北斗×髙地優吾のユニット曲「真っ赤な嘘」で初の実写ミュージックビデオを撮影し、“実写×アニメーション”を成立させたアニメーターの“えむめろ”。
氏が手掛けた「うやむや」「フィギュア」「真っ赤な嘘」に続く今作は、全編を通してリリックビデオさながら歌詞演出が施されており、丁寧な日本語で紡がれた歌詞の世界観をミュージックビデオでも体感することができる。
また、『半妖の夜叉姫』を彷彿とさせる「弓を射る」動作など作品を意識した振り付けも随所に取り入れられ、歌詞の世界観と作品とのリンクを大切にしたミュージックビデオが完成した。

Opening theme for TV animation “Hanyo no Yashahime (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon) - The Second Act” (Yomiuri Television / Nippon Television) January season
Earlier, SixTONES showed their sophisticated musicality with their 2nd album, “CITY”. The next released work is “Kyomei”, which lyrics were noticed for its beauty written in graceful Japanese. The future is unpredictable in this world, but we can overcome anything by ‘sympathizing (kyomei)’. This is the new generation’s ‘kizuna (bond)’ song that sings the determination to survive ‘today’ with the power of friends on a strong, fast rock + jazz + hip hop sound.
The song is the opening theme for the TV animation “Hanyo no Yashahime”, following their 3rd single, “NEW ERA” which was the opening theme for the 1st series of the same animation. Selected for the second time, SixTONES proved that they have gone up another level with their abilities in singing and expression after one and a half years since “NEW ERA”.
For the music video, the whole shooting was done in green back for the first time.
The music video director is the animator, emumelo, who filmed live action for the first time for Hokuto Matsumura x Yugo Kochi’s song, “Makkana Uso” (from the last album “CITY”) creating a ‘live action + animation’ music video.
Emumelo has already produced “Uyamuya”, “Figure”, and “Makkana Uso” for the SixTONES, and this time, the work plays with the lyrics almost like a lyric video and the viewers can experience the beautiful world of Japanese words from the visuals in the video.
Adding on, there are original choreography such as ‘shooting arrows’ that hints the animation “Hanyo no Yashahime”, so you can see that the finished video work respects the link between the lyric-world and the animation.
