Today's upload is a bit different. This moment is from quite a long time ago (March 2019), shortly after Matsuri moved out of her parents' place and started living alone.

She was set to appear in a live event with fellow VTubers Minamori Hero and Piroparu. Leading up to the event, to keep her company, help her get moved in, and just to hang out, Hero stayed with Matsuri at her new place for a few days.

As Matsuri was just getting settled in and feeling homesick, Hero was there for her, just as she's been there for many, many others, VTubers and fans alike.

I decided to translate this clip because I know it's cute and titillating and you guys will love it... and because it might help more people know who Hero was, even if I can only give a small glimpse.

You see, Hero is officially retiring from being a VTuber at the end of this year. While Hololive has been wildly successful, Hero's company Entum did not fare as well, and announced they would be closing their doors. While their former members are free to continue VTuber activities, Hero decided not to.

As you may have guessed, things weren't always easy for Hero, and though everyone seemed to like her, her channel never really took off. Nevertheless, her message of following your dreams, staying positive, and taking life as it comes resonated with many fans.

She streamed for the last time on December 19, 2019, but currently has no plans to delete her channel or videos.

You can find her channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuGMkxJA_icuiF01u8f3Y2Q

She has a powerful and energetic singing voice, and you can listen to her covers here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsD5In0uuR_xF7Kn8T1EGkeOx50pHF9qo

Personally, one of the highlights of her VTuber career to me was her participation in a big PUBG tournament, as part of "Team Hot Pot" (Team Nabe). She did not have a perspective for the main tournament, but you can see the other perspectives here:

The same group of four also collaborated even after the tournament:

Sadly, Hero and Matsuri didn't really stream together again after March, with Hero befriending various other VTubers and Matsuri getting busier with Hololive stuff, but you can watch them play 1-2-Switch here:

And play Apex with Piroparu:
