In the 1980s when studios were all desperately chasing "the next STAR WARS", filmmaker David Lynch tackled a big-screen version of Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel DUNE. Lynch's vision for the production was ambitious, uniquely weird, and ultimately compromised by a truncated edit, leading to audience bewilderment and box office failure. Let's swallow some Spice and find out "WTF Happened to the 1984 version of DUNE!"
