We continue our Seoul Fall series - 11 days in South Korea. This is our Day 8 Part 2 video where we return to Seoul and visit the Seoul Lantern Festival which happens every fall season.

Trip date - Nov 2-12

In this video, we took an express bus back to Seoul from Jeonju and met with our Korean students. It's been awhile since we've last seen them and it's great to have the chance to meet them in Korea.

After having a sumptuous belly-bursting unlimited Samgyepsal (pork belly)/Korean BBQ dinner, we took a bus to Cheonggyecheon Stream where the annual Seoul Lantern Festival is held. After saying goodbye to them, we head over to Gwanghwamun Square so get a glimpse of the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin. From there we took the subway back to Myeongdong to regroup with our friends Jappy and Veb at the Underground Shopping Center for some K-pop Merch shopping (where our friend Jap dropped and lost a 50,000 KRW bill... Awwww..)

If you're wondering where we bought the oven-baked Hottoek, check out the previous video (Day 8 Part 1): https://youtu.be/F1MAEcrCb6o

For Day 9, we visited Bukchon Hanok Village - https://youtu.be/dgbiVJBMC5A

JEONJU TO SEOUL BUS INFO

From Jeonju Hanok village, make your way towards the Jeonju Express Bus Terminal - our cab fare was 5300 KRW (approx US$5)

From there you can ride a direct bus to Seoul. There are two bus types , the more comfortable one (the one we rode going to Jeonju with larger seats is around 18000+ KRW (approx US$16) while the regular one is 12800KRW (approx US$12). We prefer the special bus if available but we were in a hurry so we just took the other bus which was what was leaving next.
