Kemba Walker - Superb Separation 16/17

Kemba Walker. NBA All-Star. NCAA Champion. Final Four Most Outstanding Player. Clutch. Crafty as all hell. Kemba is so clever with how he creates just enough room to get a shot off (be it his sweet jumper or something with toughness and touch around the bucket). Drag dribbles, step backs, pullbacks, reverse pivots, Kemba’s got an astonishing arsenal that he uses to create space to get off his silky smooth shot. I wanted to focus on how he generates just enough room to get his jumper off. It’s pretty, and people know he’s probably going to go to the signature stepback, but he’s able to get the defense leaning, and decelerates so quickly that there’s next to nothing anyone can do.
Sure, I can keep typing and typing about how tremendous this undersized and underrated talent is, but why not just watch the video over and over so you can SEE what a walking bucket Walker is.
