This video presents the number of subscribers of the top 10 most subscribed YouTubers every day from July 21, 2010 to April 24, 2021. You will experience a journey through time and see the rise and fall of some of the most popular YouTube channels of all time. From the early days of nigahiga and Smosh to the long-term dominance of PewDiePie. Watch as individual YouTubers grow, only to be replaced by popular music artists, and eventually corporations, such as T-Series and SET India. I first thought of this video idea in March 2020, and after a year of work and waiting, I uploaded it on April 24, PewDiePie's last day ever as the 2nd most subscribed YouTube channel.
NOTE: Some channels reflected in this video may have different names in the present as I included the names of the channels as they were at the time they were in the Top 10. This video does not include YouTube topics in the rankings, but does include YouTube Spotlight (currently just called "YouTube"), which is an actual channel run by YouTube itself.
