Every single #1 album on the Billboard 200 from the very beginning up until this past week.
From the weeks of Aug 17. 1963 to May 27. 2023, there have been over 1,100 albums that have reached the top spot for at least one week. This video is a compilation of all of those albums; from the very beginning to the present. I made sure that I got the best possible audio for many songs that are questionable in quality depending on the videos they come with.
In terms of the actual video set up:
I picked the biggest, iconic, important or song that I felt was best representative of that album. I obviously couldn't play every song from the albums otherwise the video would be 10x longer than it already is. I also didn't include which track I played for the album because I thought it would be too much text on the screen (as if there already isn't). In terms of the album covers, I picked the standard edition of the albums. This means no deluxe version, etc. Also, if an album is explicit and has the parental advisory box on the cover, then I included it as well. Obviously not every explicit album includes the warning.
This is the biggest video I have ever worked on, bigger than the every #1 singles video. This took around a month to make when it was all said and done. More videos coming soon, like every #7s, etc.
