Why I Hated Those Juneteenth Movie Playlists

In the last month, we've seen a lot of big brands trying to placate the masses by reacting to the recent protests and calls for racial justice with obvious band-aids and not real structural change. But between changing syrups and flags and whatnot, many streaming platforms have tried to highlight black art to show solidarity, but the art often chosen seems to be pretty homogeneous and frustrating.

So, this is basically a lil rant video about Hollywood's obsession with black torture porn and why you shouldn't use these service's playlists, or you'll just be stuck in a cycle of white savior narratives and depressing movies about black pain.
