世界経済危機発生前のバブル期に「激しい景気変動は克服された」という楽観論が流れました。過去の経済危機から学び、IT技術も発達したので「人類は経済危機を克服しうる」と人々は考えたのです。ですが、こうした期待は裏切られました。本講義では、過去の経済危機の経験から人類が多くを学び危機対策に成功を収めてきた面と、他方で、そうした対策が新たな危機の源泉となるという問題について論じます。
