1937 George Hall - It’s Swell Of You (The Four Modernaires, vocal)
The vocal quartet recorded briefly with George Hall after a stint with Charlie Barnet and prior to Paul Whiteman and (most famously) Glenn Miller. Both “It’s Swell Of You” and the flip “There’s A Lull In My Life” ( https://youtu.be/IhrZm2el008 ) were from Gordon & Revel’s hit-laden score for the 20th Century Fox film “Wake Up And Live.”
