Flying Termites are also called Termite Swarmers. This main point here is determining whether or not you have termites in your home. Flying termites are very commonly mistaken for other things like flying ants. Flying ants can behave almost exactly the same as flying termites. They both emerge at one time with hundreds of individuals coming out at once and they both serve the same purpose to the species, to start a new colony. Once flying ants and termites leave their nest, they fly off into the distance looking for a mate to begin a new colony with. If they don't find a place to start a new colony, they will soon die off, which is what was shown in this video. There are a few physical differences to look for between ants and termites, just search the internet and it will show you.
