「持続可能な開発のための教育（Education for Sustainable Development: ESD）」という言葉を見聞きしたことはありますか？ これは、学習者が協力しながら実社会の課題解決を考える、実践中心の教育方針の一つです。ESDでの学びを通して国際社会における異文化理解や多文化の共生を促すことで、国を越えて協調し課題を解決する姿勢を育み、平和に繋がると期待されています。この講義では、国内外の教育にかかわる諸課題をESDの視点から切り取り、国際社会での「恵み」の配分のあり方を考えます。

Despite human has been obtaining tremendous blessing from the nature and society, it is not guaranteed to be sustainable forever. How can we figure out the phenomenon and take action to keep acquiring such benefits? In this lecture series, lecturers who have different academic backgrounds define "blessing" in terms of their specialty and talk about how our society ought to live with the notion.
