Dr. Lori Karpf, a psychiatrist who treated Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz, who killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, testified during the 23-year-old's sentencing. Dr. Karpf treated Nikolas Cruz for a couple years, starting when he entered the 3rd grade. Dr. Karpf testified about a number of incidents Cruz got into at school, including striking another student with a lunch box and threatening to stab his 3rd grade teacher.
