Jennifer Guttenberg, the mother of Parkland murder victim Jaime Guttenberg, testified during Nikolas Cruz's sentencing for killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018. Jennifer Guttenberg told jurors that Valentine's Day used to be her favorite holiday before her daughter was murdered on that day four years ago. "I lost my purpose in life that day," she said. "My life feels so empty, lonely and incomplete."
